Our Fostering Panel meets 10 times a year and each session equates to 3 hours preparation and approximately 3 hours attending panel.
We make homes to nurture children and young peoples’ potential.

How will you do this?
You will have up to date professional and/or personal knowledge of looked after children and young people and the legislation and guidance
that supports them.
You will have knowledge or experience of the role of Foster Carers.
You will prepare for panel meetings by carefully reading the Panel papers and identifying key issues for discussion at the meetings.
You will actively participate in Panel discussions and use your knowledge and experience to contribute to decision making.
You will safeguard the confidentiality of all information connected to the panel.
You will promote anti – discriminatory practice.
How will we support you?
We will cover your travel expenses and any other expenses incurred as a result of being a Panel member. You will have access to relevant training as part of the Carolina House Trust community.
