The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum, an award-winning Victorian, Gothic building, is home to Dundee’s main collection spanning 400 million years. Eight beautiful open gallery spaces house fascinating exhibitions of art, history and the environment, giving a fascinating insight into Scottish history.
To mark our bicentenary year we have been working closely with curators from the McManus to bring together a display that brings that rich history of Carolina House Trust to life.
A large number of people from Dundee and surrounding areas have been affiliated with Carolina House Trust in some way or other (either themselves or someone they know were looked after at some point). We hope that this exhibition will be of great interest to them.
We officially unveiled the exhibition on Wednesday 30 September. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition in the near future.
