CHT 2021 Christmas Programme

Following a year of virtual parties, online entertainment and being unable to gather, we are delighted for the return of in-person events for Christmas 2021.

Our Christmas Programme kicked off on Wednesday 17th November with an early Christmas lunch for our busy foster carers. We brought in curry and pizza for lunch, played a very-difficult Christmas Quiz, and held the best Christmas jumper competition. It’s always a fun event to celebrate the hard work of our foster carers throughout the year.

Our Christmas Programme still has plenty left to entertain our CHT Community:

  • Advent challenge – you can CHT Advent Challenge 21 and join in with us. If you share your progress with us on social media, use #chtchristmas to make sure we see it. We will share a Christmas activity every day from 1st December until Christmas Eve with plenty of opportunities to practice kindness and self-care.
  • CHT Christmas Card Design competition for our children and young people – the winning design will become our official Christmas card. Submit all entries by email to fosterteam@carolina.org.uk or in the post to Head Office by Monday 29th November.
  • Christmas Celebration – A day planned to delight our children and young people with a traditional festive activity in Dundee, followed by a party back at Head Office with games and possibly a VIP visitor…
  • Staff Christmas lunch and Secret Santa – the staff will have the opportunity to come together for lunch and mark the first Christmas together in two years.

Our Support Workers go all out for our community at Christmas, ensuring our foster carers and young people know how much they are appreciated. We offer easy Christmas activities for all our families to participate in and in a supportive environment. Christmas can bring joy, but also some challenges for our children and young people.
