Key information:

Location: Head Office, 7 Luna Place, Gateway West, Technology Park, Dundee DD2 1TP

Salary: Apprenticeship Rates Apply – Current rates are available on gov.uk

 

Eligibility: You must be over the legal age to leave school. You must not have studied Business Administration at a higher level. Funding criteria is set by Skills Development Scotland for this framework. 

Start date: We can be flexible around start date for candidates completing the academic year.

General Administration

Provide administrative support, including minute taking; maintaining databases and filing systems; supporting events, overseeing room bookings; and preparing and distributing correspondence as required, while ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

Provide administrative support to the approval panel.

Answering phones and transferring calls to the relevant people.

Process Disclosure and PVG applications for the CHT Community.

Financial Support

Providing back up support for receiving invoices, coding and posting the invoices to the accounting software and helping resolve invoicing queries.

Administering petty cash requests including distributing funds and updating the relevant Excel spreadsheet.

 

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to be proactive, possess problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels both verbal and written.

Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively

A strong mathematical aptitude, Higher English and Maths is desired

IT skills, proficient in Word and Excel, although training will be provided

An eye for detail

Ability to engage in our culture of Growth Mindset

Enjoys being a team player

Ability to problem solve

Excellent telephone manner, training will be provided

Ability to engage and collaborate with the team and wider CHT community

Understands the need to maintain confidentiality
