At CHT there are opportunities to support our work across the whole organisation:
The Carolina House Trust staff are a multi-disciplinary team that includes supervising social workers, support workers and support service professionals. Our range of skills and experience means we can respond to the changing needs of our children and young people and carers and deliver a flexible and efficient service.

There are two groups of volunteers essential to the governance and professional oversight of our organisation. We welcome enquiries from candidates for these voluntary positions and are particularly keen for people who are care-experienced to join us. Please send a CV and covering letter to info@carolina.org.uk
Our Board of Trustees is responsible for our governance. They offer a breadth of knowledge and experience across a variety of areas including finance, marketing, IT, business, law, and social care. The Board provides oversight of our activities and monitors the performance of the organisation ensuring we fulfill our statutory responsibilities, as well as providing strategic direction.
Carolina House Trust is committed to good governance and signed up to the Scottish Governance Code for the Third Sector in 2019.
Our Approval Panel volunteers come from a range of professions including education and social care. They are professionals who are familiar with the legislation that supports looked-after young people, which is essential to this group. The Approval Panel approves and subsequently monitors our carers to ensure our children and young people receive quality care.
