Our team regularly learn about and visit other organisations that can offer support to our young people and carers. Our support workers visited The Corner in Dundee and Natalie reports back.
The Corner gives advice to young people and helps them get access to health and wellbeing services.
When Chelsey and I visited we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and offered a hot drink/snack, and of course a chat. We met some of the staff and students working there and heard about some amazing work happening in The Corner and in the community.
The team at The Corner continue to provide a range of services to young people aged 11 to 19 through their drop-in, work in local communities, schools and media work. They have a City Centre Drop-In on the corner of Castle Street and Shore Terrace which is now open weekday afternoons, from 1-6pm, Mondays – Fridays, or you can book an appointment with them.
